Six Words To Memorize: “Work to Live, Live to Work”

Robby
This is a spin on an old comment from Benjamin Franklin.
Do you work in order to live, or is the purpose of your existence work? Does your job define you?
Part of the problem with work is that we feel the need to do so much of it. We can become consumed with the need to be at the office or with the customer. We can become gripped by fear that if we don’t work hard, we will lose our jobs.
And yet, life isn’t really about work. It’s about all the other things that work makes possible—family, friends, retirement. In fact, many people work simply because they want to have the rest of their life taken care of by the income provided by work.
So how about you—do you work to live, or live to work?
