Improve Productivity When Working From Home

It’s a trend in Indiana and everywhere: more and more professionals are working from home. But how can you get things done when you’re not in the office?
You might think that getting a job that lets you work from your couch is a fantasy, but it happens more than you might realize. The Indy Channel has covered legitimate work-from-home jobs that really pay and 10 companies now hiring for work-from-home jobs.

Here’s some advice for Hoosiers who want to make money without leaving the house:
Dress for the job you’re doing, not for the space you’re occupying. Technically you can get a lot of work done in your pajamas, but getting showered and dressing as if you were in an office can help with motivation and focus.
Create a home office. It might be your kitchen table, your spare bedroom, or even your patio—but delegate a specific place for working so that you mentally associate that zone with being productive. And if possible, close the door behind you so the rest of your home doesn’t distract you.
Multitask smart. It’s not possible to do two things at once that require concentration, but you *can* fold laundry or put away the dishes while listening in on a conference call. Use the boost of getting something done to propel yourself into your next task
Now, dust off that résumé and get yourself a job where you don’t have to go anywhere!
